I put myself in a ton of Batman comic panels JUST BECAUSE.

This might be a little rushed because I'm appropriating class time for the mashup project, but, here ya go.

I Need a Vacation

Specifically, three nights in Akihabara in Tokyo, Japan. I'm using the $5000 Uncle Mike gave me.

I'm leaving March 30th at 12:55 PM. The flight is with Delta Airlines, number 158, and it's 18 hours, 10 minutes long.

I will probably be staying at the Dormy Inn. My room costs about $86 per night, and I'm staying for 3 nights.

"Black History Month"

I actually disapprove of this month because I feel like "Black History" should be a regular part of the curriculum instead of relegated to one specific month (which is an idea I may of stolen off a quote by Morgan Freeman), but this is an assignment so I had little choice in the matter.

Apparently, he's also something of a nerd.

The effect I experimented with was the diffuse glow filter. I've used it before, but I've never specifically tried to relegate it to just the highlights in the picture, and keep a soft glow effect instead of a sharp one.
